The Vermont urn is constructed from locally sourced and repurposed lumber from barns within Vermont. Classic hand cut nails are used in its construction, as well as a natural oil finish to preserve the natural beauty of the wood. All of our solid wood urns are made in Vermont.

     Our products are all meticulously manufactured by hand in the United States, particularly in Vermont, with great quality and pride. All of our products are manufactured from the highest quality components, of sustainable woods and are sourced locally, each offer their own unique qualities and beauty. We also use a collaboration of local ar   tisans to personalize our one-of-a-kind products.

      The quantity of ashes, or “cremated remains”, that each urn holds is measured in cubic inches. To calculate the size of urn needed. The standard calculation is approximately 1 pound of healthy weight to 1 cubic inch of cremains; that is, a 200-pound person will require roughly 200 cubic inches capacity in an urn.
